About the Course

This program focuses on the application of engineering practices and principles to analyze and design medical products and processes. Students gain a deep grounding in engineering systems, human anatomy, and physiology. It emphasizes the “life cycle” of medical equipment, from needs assessment and planning to maintenance and decommissioning.

Minimum Admission Requirements

  • S6 leavers
  • Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or its equivalent, entrants, must have two (2) principal passes in at least two of the following subjects; physics, mathematics, and chemistry shall be treated as relevant, while economics, entrepreneurship, and ICT shall be treated as desirable.
  • Age: 18 and above
