Rev. Prof. Dr. Samuel Luboga is a distinguished Ugandan medical doctor, academic, and Anglican priest, recognized for his extensive contributions to medical education, public service, and leadership in Uganda Prof. Luboga holds multiple degrees from Makerere University, including a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB), a Master of Medicine in Surgery (M.Med), a Diploma in Health Administration, and a PhD in Anatomy. His academic tenure at Makerere University spans several decades, during which he served as Head of the Anatomy Department (1986–1995), Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (2000–2007), and Acting Director of Quality Assurance (2009–2010). He also led the Makerere University/Yale University Collaboration (MUYU) in 2011.
